Compliance with European standards

The European Union has recently implemented new regulations to reduce the use of plastic bags and to encourage more sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives.

The new regulations, which came into force on 1 July 2021, are designed to drastically reduce the number of plastic bags used across the EU. These regulations are part of a broader effort.

A number of measures will be implemented to reduce our dependence on single-use plastic bags. Everyone will be encouraged to bring their own bags when shopping.

A lot of work will also be done to educate businesses and customers on the importance of reducing the use of plastic bags.

Campaigns will be organized to raise the awareness of the environmental impact of plastic bags and to promote other alternatives. This way, we will be able to comply with the European standards.
